which is part of Spelthorne District. If you are a visitor to our group, I hope you enjoy browsing through our website and learning more about what we get up to!
As a group we have a clear determination that Scouting must be active and fun. To join our Beaver, Cub or Scout sections we require that parents fully support the group in order that we can continue to provide the Scouting experience for the children, this includes attending our social events, helping out with fundraising and where possible taking on a more active role within the group. We have lots of roles to suit everyone given their time and availability. Roles can be anything from fundraising, administration, finance, committee, or becoming a leader or asistant leader. The Group Scout Leader (GSL) looks after the whole of the group and can provide a list of roles that are vacant. We currently have leaders qualified in Camping, Kayaking, Archery and Fencing. If as a parent you are interested in becoming a skills instructor please discuss with the GSL as we may be able to help.
For pictures of activities and recent events please see our Facebook Page.
We are a family friendly group and when young people join us, so do their families. We aim to include parents in as much as possible whether its helping out at weekly meetings, coming along to help at camp or just helping out with a bit of DIY at our Headquarters.
We aim to make life an adventure for all of our members. If you think you would like to join that adventure, why not get in touch.

ABOUT US
We are a uniformed organisation. Each group has its own scarf colours ours is Half red and Half white . More details can be found on the scout association website at: www.scouts.org.uk
We operate equal opportunities policy and all are welcome. There is a regular subscription that covers our operating costs and the operation of the Scout Association. We do not make a profit and all Leaders and Helpers in the group are volunteers. Out of pocket expenses are reimbursed.
We follow the rules and regulations of the Scout Association, as part of this all the leaders and helpers are required to complete an enhanced criminal records check. We also ask all parents to who wish to help, to complete this check.
